A shocking revelation by ‘The Tudors’ star Jonathan Rhys
Having sex with about 20 people is normal!
This statement comes from Jonathan Rhys Meyers, the Irish actor, who portrays the character of lusty King Henry Vill in the popular historic drama ‘The Tudors’. He has recently said that having sex with 20 people is ‘not so much’. The statement was given when he was talking to Showbiz Spy. Here’s what he said, “Which is not bad, because if I go out in London on a Saturday night and I say to some handsome young dude or some handsome young girl that’s standing in the club, ‘How many people have you slept with this year?’ [They'd say], ‘Er, about 50′. So it’s not so much.”
During the three season long run of the show, Jonathan Rhys has slept with around 22 people. And, it’s no way extraordinary, at least according to him. Jonathan also said that the real King Henry was very prudish but sex happened. Well, I guess that sleeping with a large no. of people is not a big deal for Jonathan. And, if The Tudors returns with new episodes, the figure is likely to be double. Even this is not the end. Jonathan also revealed that he was reluctant to portray the character of the infamous monarch. The idea was ridiculous to him but as he goes on with the character, he comes to know how important the character is. I think no body could have performed the character better than him.
